Shirt hem

A matter of taste

You can choose between the classic shirt hem and the straight hem. The classic hem is cut “rounded,” and the back is usually a bit longer. “Usually” because depending on body shape, the front may also need to be made longer.

The straight hem is cut (almost) straight, and the front and back have the same length. Here too, the final cut depends on the wearer’s body shape and the measurements provided.

By default, the classic hem is preselected. It works equally well for casual and formal shirts. The straight hem can also be chosen for any shirt style. Especially when the shirt is worn tucked in, the hem shape is secondary and simply a matter of preference.
